You may never go back to store-bought balsamic vinaigrette ever again after tasting our version. The ease of preparation and super-fresh flavor will turn you into a homemade dressing convert. you can also make a big batch and keep it refrigerated for a few weeks for whenever your salads or sandwiches need a little pick-me-up. The xanthan gum, a common thickener, is included, but you can definitely omit it if you'd like. Otherwise, you probably have most of the other ingredients on hand, such as shallots, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, and olive oil. Simply whisk everything together, and your savory dressing is all ready to go.
