With a family history of diabetes and heart disease, 20-year old Cecelia really wanted to get healthy. Being a young woman she also felt like she was living life on the sidelines. That’s when she subscribed to Weight Watchers Online and began following the Plan.

Being a student and having a crazy schedule, I knew the online Plan would fit really well into my lifestyle. I also really loved that I could track my weight at home. That was really key for me.
Tech-savvy weight loss
Being able to calculate and track my food on my BlackBerry and iPod Touch makes grocery shopping and eating out with friends a piece of cake. The restaurant guides and Message Boards give me all the advice I need if any questions come up. I’m always on the go, so being able to access my Tracker, the cheat sheets and recipes at all hours is wonderful!
Staying on track
I knew I’d reach my goal when I survived Christmas dinner with my family and still lost weight. It just takes planning. I prepared healthy dishes and still got everything I wanted — even gingerbread men! I stopped thinking, “I can’t eat this or that." I can eat anything as long as I make healthier choices the rest of the day.
I knew I had to change my life in order to really enjoy it. I kept envisioning the thinner, happier me and before I knew it, she was who I saw in the mirror. I’ve inspired my whole family and I have four friends who have all joined Weight Watchers after seeing my success.
No longer invisible
I’m no longer the invisible girl! I love my confidence and self esteem. Now I can walk into a crowded room and not have my eyes glued to the floor. Now that the weight is off I’m super confident. I’ve even decided to study abroad for a semester in London — something I would have never done before subscribing to Weight Watchers Online. I couldn’t be happier!
