We swapped the vegetable broth out for Swanson Brand Asian Infusions Hot & Sour broth. It didn't change the points value, and it gave this quite the kick!
make it a hot and sour by adding 3 to 4 tbs vinegar to the end of the recipe along with some green coins raw and sliced to the top of the bowl.
This is a filling soup, but needs a kick of something more flavorful - soy sauce and red pepper wasn't enough. Maybe a dash of fish sauce would do it. I didn't have water chestnuts on hand and missed the crunchiness.
