Not very cheesey. Just wasn't all that good.
The consistency of this recipe was very good. I found it a little bland using only the seasonings as directed, so I added, dried thyme, mustard (powder), salt, pepper and some hot sauce as well as half a chicken bouillon cube.
Excellent soup, my children loved it.
I used fat free cheddar cheese in this soup. NOT a good idea as it doesn't melt the way low fat or regular cheese does. I also used fat-free half and half to make it creamier. The point value was the same with these 2 substitutions. The taste was still delicious.
