I substituted Kroger brand Splenda-like sugar substitute, and it tasted wonderful! Something quick and easy for a breakfast on the run. My 10 year old thought they were delicious.
The only thing I didn't like about the recipe was using butter to do the cooking. Instead of golden brown, I got a light charcoal black. Don't know if it was due to the skillet I used, my cooktop, or a combination of the two. What I do know is that I will be making this again! :)
