I substituted Apple Cider Vinegar instead of Red Wine Vinegar. Alot of work. I am adding it cold to my salad but it wasn't a big hit.
A surprise for a colorful cabbage dish. A definite change from (boring) coleslaw. Much better the second day after cooking.
This got really dry for me. I thought it was ok but I wouldn't make it again. I should've added more water but the flavor was "meh" anyway. I think it would be better with a bit of onion and some bacon bits.
