If you follow this recipe exactly, you will get the thick paste pictured in the photo. In this form, it doesn't really dress a salad. I thinned mine down with carrot juice to get a better consistency. I think it's a good concept, but you'll want to plan on making some adjustments to suit. Thinning with carrot juice also reduced the flavor factor -- it needed additional amounts of ginger, etc. In the long run, it felt a bit like I was creating a recipe from scratch.
