1 pound(s) uncooked 99% fat-free ground turkey breast
1/4 cup(s) unpacked brown sugar
1 medium uncooked onion(s), chopped
1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cup(s) canned tomato sauce
2 Tbsp canned tomato paste
1 tbsp Meijer Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 tsp McCormick Grill Mates Seasoning, Montreal Steak
8 biscuit Pillsbury Grands! Biscuits, Butter Tastin'
1 cup Kraft Natural Fat Free Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add oil and meat to the pan. Spread the meat around the pan and begin to break it up.
Combine brown sugar and steak seasoning. Add sugar and spice mixture to the skillet and combine.
When the meat has browned, add onion to the skillet. Reduce heat to medium and cook onions, red wine vinegar and Worcestershire sauce with meat for 5 minutes.
Add tomato sauce and paste to pan. Stir to combine. Reduce heat to simmer and cook Sloppy Joe mixture 5 minutes longer.
Heat oven to 375 F. Press each biscuit into 6-inch round.
Spoon 1/3 cup meat mixture and about 2 tablespoons cheese onto center of each round. Fold dough in half over filling; press to seal.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 14 minutes or until golden brown.
