I, too, do not understand how the point calculation works here and am very concerned that it is misleading. I made the recipe without the pudding and it was wonderful. Very thick batter which does not spread; make sure the muffins look the way you like before putting in the oven. Sprinkled mine with less than a teasp of confect. sugar for the entire batch to improve the appearance, I don't think that adds to the point value. 16 **** in my batch, I estimate 3 points each. Very satisfying.
