I left out the topping and the walnuts, used fat free evaporated milk and whole wheat flour. I then made a loaf of it. With these modifications it has 5 ptsplus for 1/8 loaf. This is so good and so filling!

Delicious! Moist and not like the bland bran muffins mom used to make. I used a heaping teaspoon of cinnamon as I always do. It is true the muffins aren't extremely sweet but this is something I am accustomed to in my food. The mixture of the flavorful items make for a tasty nutritious muffin.
Love these muffins. Made with sunflower seeds (1/4 c) in lieu of wheat bran and added dried cranberries instead of raisins.
Fill tins to top cause they don't rise all that much. That's your 4 pointer
