This recipe has potential but if you make it according to the directions it has far too much vegetable broth. The fresh tomato taste is completely covered by the vegetable broth taste, and the amount of veg broth is far too much so it is a much thinner soup than a bisque.
I would suggest halving the vegetable broth. It will cut down on the brothy taste and make it a thicker bisque rather than a thin soup. If that makes it too thick then try adding tomato juice until desired consistency
