a tasty dense muffin! I substituted the canola oil for coconut oil which worked fine too. A recipe I'll go back to.
I am terrible at cooking and baking but was able to make these! They are delicious and have just the right amount of chocolate. They are small, but filling.
The taste of these muffins was overall great however the time was too long and they were a little burnt 5 mins before they should have even been done.
Delicious and moist. I replaced baking powder and used 2 tsp backing soda; I didn't use the egg yolk, nor did I use the oil. I used 3 egg whites and added an additional 1/4C applesauce. I also used non-sugar brown sugar; carob choc chips.
