This is delicious. I would probably put less, if any, cloves. I think the clove taste was a little stong. Otherwise, I love this dessert!!
Fixed this the day ahead for Thanksgiving lunch. We all liked it. I subbed ground ginger for the cayenne. Next time, I will bump up the seasonings with nutmeg or more cloves or ginger. I took out of the fridge as we sat down to lunch rather than serving cold.
I overbaked mine slightly, and it is STILL delicious.
Served it to my husband and another couple, and they all loved it. My friend asked for the recipe!
